Technology
Island-Timing uses Innovative Timing Systems Jaguar technology to
time your event. These
state-of-the-art systems include disposable chips that are attached to the
participants bib so that they barely know that they’re wearing it. In addition, the antennae are mounted on
a bridge above the finish line so that there is no tripping hazard for the
participants. There are optional
services that are also available to truly make your event a standout such as
(when available) flat screen displays of finish line video, optional custom
messages for participants at the finish line and even optional customized .txt
messages when they cross the finish line.
Staff
Island-Timing doesn’t skimp when it comes to bringing the right
staff to your event. Typically, we
bring a minimum of 3 people to a race of 300 or fewer participants and add 1
staff member per 200 additional expected participants. This staff includes people who assemble
the timing equipment, help your registration volunteers, provide data input for
registered participants and track finish time
accuracy.
